Summary

This workshop integrates core principles of narrative therapy into everyday communication strategies to promote emotional healing and personal growth. Designed for coaches, pastoral counselors, ministry leaders, and lay counselors, the session equips participants with practical techniques to facilitate meaningful storytelling and active listening in non-clinical settings. Attendees will critically assess the therapeutic mechanisms of narrative therapy and learn to translate these principles into effective interpersonal and organizational interventions, particularly in response to adversity. Through structured discussions and experiential exercises, participants will apply narrative techniques to enhance emotional processing, strengthen relational connections, and foster resilience. Upon completion, attendees will be prepared to implement these strategies in their own ministries or coaching practices and train others, thereby extending therapeutic benefits into broader community contexts.
