Summary

This interactive workshop is designed for coaches, pastors, pastoral counselors, and lay counselors seeking to enhance their skills in assessing Christian clients. The focus is on clients who are seeking faith-based coaching or lay counseling but have struggled to make progress in various areas of life due to limited thinking or overthinking. Participants will evaluate anonymous Christian client profiles to identify applicable circumstances and discuss them in group settings with fellow professionals. Additionally, participants will learn to identify key words to create questions that assist clients in self-evaluation, helping them better understand their thought patterns, and will also describe five actionable steps to help clients break free from limited thinking and overthinking patterns. By the end of the workshop, each participant will prepare a client action plan and/or follow-up care plan, equipped with tools to implement faith-based roles and facilitate lasting client transformation.
