Like a theater play, leaders have a frontstage and a backstage. The frontstage is the public world, and the backstage is the private world. An authentic story originates backstage. Clients live in a frontstage-dominated world, yet core longings such as belonging, love, empathy, significance, and safety are backstage. What roots are to a tree, the backstage is to the frontstage. It empowers and sustains a leader’s frontstage success. This workshop will apply the S.T.O.R.Y. system, which is the heart of the backstage, to help ministry leader and coaches help clients produce authenticity in their lives.
