Theraplay® is an evidence-based, play therapy intervention designed to enhance attachment, self-esteem, trust, and joyful engagement between parents and children. Rooted in natural, healthy interaction patterns, it fosters emotional connection through personal, physical, and fun activities. In this workshop, licensed mental health professionals and ministry leaders will recognize how Theraplay® addressed a wide range of challenges, from behavioral concerns to emotional difficulties, by engaging both children and adults in therapeutic play. Participants will identify how this historically significant method has proven effective for individuals of all ages, helping to strengthen relationships and build resilience. During this workshop participants will evaluate how Theraplay® can be applied in diverse settings and assess how it fosters lasting positive change through meaningful and engaging interactions.
