Summary

Narcissistic abuse in relationships can leave deep emotional and spiritual wounds, challenging the very core of a willing Christian client’s faith and self-worth. This presentation offers a unique integration of clinical expertise and biblical wisdom to guide psychologists, mental health professionals, medical professionals, and ministry leaders in helping these clients heal from narcissistic abuse. The presenter draws from her extensive clinical expertise in psychotherapy and relationship trauma to explore the dynamics of narcissistic relationships and their profound impact on the victim’s psyche and spiritual well-being. Attendees will learn to recognize the subtle signs of narcissistic abuse, understand the trauma bonding process, and gain practical, faith-centered strategies for guiding clients towards healing and restoration. The session will address how to reframe the abuse experience within a biblical context, rebuild shattered self-esteem through God’s love, and foster healthy boundaries rooted in Christian principles. By blending evidence-based therapeutic techniques with scriptural truths, this presentation equips faith-based clinicians with powerful tools to support their willing Christian clients in breaking free from narcissistic abuse and rediscovering their worth in Christ.
